Men’s Linen Haori

Haori is a traditional Japanese jacket, similar to a short kimono, worn by both men and women. Originally part of formal men’s attire, it gradually became a popular addition to casual and formal wardrobes. Haori is characterized by a loose fit, wide sleeves, and an open front, often tied with a subtle cord (haori-himo). Today, it is worn in Japan as an elegant fashion piece that blends tradition with modernity, and internationally it is gaining popularity as a unique, layered garment inspired by Japanese minimalism.

In the Darnina version, the haori is crafted from soft, raw linen. Its loose, open silhouette highlights the natural beauty of the fabric, while the wide sleeves add a touch of effortless elegance. The minimalist design drapes beautifully over the body. Thanks to breathable and durable linen, it works as a lightweight layer for any season — perfect for casual outfits as well as more refined ensembles.

Size:

• OVERSIZE – fits body sizes XS to L. Falls below the hips. Remarkably versatile. Perfect for layered linen styling. Check the measurements in the table below. Przemek wears size L.

Care Instructions: Wash at 40°C, avoid strong spinning and wrinkling, do not bleach. Linen does not tolerate tumble drying. Iron according to preference — linen creases beautifully and persistently.

Haori are made from softened “stonewashed” linen and pre-washed after sewing, so you won’t be surprised by shrinkage after the first wash.

Attention! Haori are made to order, and production may take up to 3 weeks.
