Chrysanthemum is a story about memory – about endurance and resilience.

The Chryzantema linen dress was created as a tribute to Olga Boznańska. Inspired by her paintings Girl with Chrysanthemums and Children on the Stairs, it is an attempt to reinterpret and reconstruct the cut of dresses from around 1900.

• A loose-fit graphite linen dress.
• Oval yoke with decorative wide pleats.
• Puffed sleeves with decorative pleats, tapered around the forearm.
• Buttoned at the back with small buttons covered in linen fabric.
• Spacious side seam pockets.
• Made of 100% linen in graphite colour, 130 g/m². The fabric is certified with European Flax Premium Linen Fibre and Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
• Length – 130 cm
• Handmade in a small tailoring workshop in Polish mountains Beskid Wyspowy.
• A reinterpretation of the silhouette of children’s dresses from around 1900.
• Looks beautiful styled with a belt at the waist.

Care: Wash at 40°C, avoid creasing and strong spinning, do not bleach. Linen dislikes tumble drying. Iron as you wish – linen wrinkles stubbornly yet beautifully.

The dresses are made from softened “stonewashed” linen and have been washed after sewing – so they won’t shrink after the first wash.
