Large knitting project bag with a round bottom. This pouch was created as a project bag for knitters and crocheters and their yarn crafts. Perfect for medium and large projects like shawls, sweaters and and other similarly sized knitting ideas. The bag has two additional pockets inside.

Inspired by komebukuro – a traditional Japanese rice pouch.

Made of vintage natural fabrics, submitted to a multi-step natural dyeing proces. Hand embroidered with plant-dyed floss. The outer fabric is a unique antique linen grain bag with a deep graphite color.

Dyes:

  • oak tree / quercus robur
  • staghorn sumac / rhus typhina

Komebukuro pouch is filled with two layers of soft cotton quilt wadding.

Dimensions::
base diameter – 17 cm
height – 27 cm

I mostly use vintage materials and some of them are pieces of rare hand-woven antique linen fabric.

Naturally dyed fabrics are delicate. Colors may change slightly over time and subsequent washes. They should be washed by hand, with delicate detergents. Keep them out from direct sunlight.
